I'm a Professor of Theatre at John Brown University where I direct, design, and teach classes in all areas of theatre. Prior to JBU I spent six years as the primarily acting and directing  instructor at Dordt University.  Before getting my MFA in Directing from Baylor University, I worked for 5 years as The Director of Outreach at Taproot Theatre in Seattle, WA.

In addition to teaching and directing, I am a seasoned scenic designer and mask maker with a passion for creating  dynamic theatrical environments that captivate audiences and bring stories to life.
